Meet Our Team

Lauren is a graduate of the College of Charleston where she holds bachelor is degrees in both business communication and Spanish. She previously worked in international trade until learning how much she loved working in her family’s dental practice. Now, she has worked in dental administration for over ten years. She brings a warm, approachable style to every patient interaction. Known for her friendly demeanor and commitment to creating a welcoming environment, she helps ensure that every visit runs smoothly.

Outside of the office, Lauren performs stand-up comedy at local clubs around the DFW area. When she is not juggling patient schedules or punchlines, she enjoys practicing yoga, fly fishing and playing mahjong with friends. She is also a devoted mom to her daughter and two energetic labradoodles.

With over a decade of experience in dentistry since 2013, Sabrina brings a unique blend of clinical and administrative expertise to our practice. Sabrina is known for her approachable, can-do attitude. Patients love her warmth and knowledge; they feel at ease asking her anything, and she always follows through with care and precision.

Outside the office, she is a proud mom to her daughter, Lucy, and dog mom to Teddy. She enjoys staying active at the gym and giving back to the community through volunteering, especially with local organizations like the Sharkarosa Zoo. As an avid music enthusiast, whether it is a local concert or a full-blown music festival, she loves immersing herself in the energy of live music whenever she gets the chance.

Melissa brings a sweet nature, comforting smile and a joyful spirit to our team, making every patient feel genuinely at ease the moment they walk through our doors. She began her professional journey at Tyler Junior College, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene and developed a deep passion for patient care and oral health education. Her bubbly personality and calming presence help create a home-like atmosphere in the office, especially for patients who may feel nervous about their visit. Melissa’s tenacity and genuine care shine through in everything she does, making her a beloved part of both our team and our patients’ lives.

A proud resident of Lavon, Melissa is deeply family-oriented and treasures quality time with her big and beautiful family. She and her husband, Keishaun – her biggest supporter and the light of her life – are excitedly preparing to welcome their new son. Their household is also filled with furry love from two Maine Coon cats and their sassy English Bulldog, fittingly named Sassy. Outside the office, Melissa is a proud Kansas City Chiefs fan (fun fact: she even went to high school with the quarterback!). Whether she is traveling to be with family or cheering on her team, Melissa brings passion and positivity into everything she does.

Taylor is a dedicated registered dental hygienist who graduated from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She has been proudly serving patients at Dr. Hume’s office since 2023, where she brings a gentle, thorough approach to preventive care. Taylor holds certifications in both nitrous oxide administration and laser therapy, allowing her to provide advanced, patient-centered treatment.

Originally from San Angelo, Texas, Taylor moved to Dallas to pursue her dental hygiene education and has since made it her home. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through yoga, Pilates and cycling. She is also a proud dog mom to Georgia, her adventurous 4-year-old golden retriever who loves swimming and long walks.

Tammy has been a cornerstone of our practice since 2020, but her journey in dentistry began long before. A registered dental assistant since 2012 and top of her class, Tammy brings intelligence, precision and heart to everything she does. Her sharp mind and quick wit help put even the most anxious patients at ease: when Tammy is around, dental visits feel a whole lot more comfortable. She is the perfect clinical partner to Dr. Hume, and together they make an exceptional team. Tammy’s leadership, attention to detail and calm confidence set the tone for excellence in our office every day.

Outside of work, Tammy is a proud wife to Kris and the ultimate boy mom to her two sons. Whether she is cheering them on at sports games or wrangling the family dog, Rooster, she pours her whole heart into everything she does. A true hometown treasure, Tammy is known for always going above and beyond for her family, friends, and community. She is that mom: the one who is always present, always giving and always inspiring those around her.
